We carry a solid alder plaque which is hand matched for the best engraving surface. The plaques are finished with a routed edge and have two keyholes on the back for hanging the plaque either portrait or landscape.
We also offer plaques in other woods that engrave well such as cherry and red cedar. For our layered plaques, we generally use a birch or maple plywood.
